Working Principle

The Cooling Tank operates via indirect heat exchange. Product is loaded into the inner vessel, while a cooling medium (chilled water, ice water, or refrigerant) circulates through the surrounding jacket. A agitation system (anchor, propeller, or frame impeller with variable-frequency drive) stirs contents to create turbulent flow, maximizing contact between the product and tank wall to boost heat transfer. A thermostat or PLC system regulates cooling medium flow and agitation speed, enabling precise temperature control to prevent thermal damage or quality issues.
