Working Principle

The UHT Sterilizer operates on the ultra-high temperature instantaneous sterilization principle. Liquid raw materials first pass through a regenerator (heat exchanger), where heat from the outgoing sterilized product preheats the incoming raw material, significantly reducing energy consumption. The preheated material is then rapidly heated to 135-150°C via direct steam injection or indirect heat exchangers (plate or tube designs). After holding at this temperature for 2-5 seconds in a holding tube to ensure complete microbial inactivation, the material is quickly cooled to storage or aseptic filling temperature. Throughout the process, a PLC system with HMI interface precisely controls temperature, flow, and pressure, minimizing nutrient loss while guaranteeing consistent sterilization efficacy.
